Dang! Payoff vs Undebt.it
Both are web-based debt payoff planners built on manual entry. Undebt.it offers more payoff orders, a free tracker and a lower price; Dang! Payoff offers a deliberately smaller tool with no bank connection at all.[1][2] The table below puts the facts side by side, and the sections after it say where each is stronger.
We make Dang! Payoff. Every Undebt.it entry is footnoted to Undebt.it's own site, checked on the date at the foot of the page, and we have not tested Undebt.it's arithmetic, so we make no claim about it either way.

Where Undebt.it is stronger
- Choice of method. It offers many more payoff orders than our pair, including a custom order.[1]
- Price. Its tracker has a free tier, and Undebt.it+ at $10 a year costs less than our Yearly plan at $19.99.[2][5]
- A free spreadsheet export of the payoff plan.[2]
- Connections, if you want them: an optional bank sync and a YNAB link on Undebt.it+.[4][2]
Where Dang! Payoff is different
- There is no bank connection to turn on, by design rather than as a setting.
- Fewer choices: snowball or avalanche, and the calculators on this site show what that choice costs before you commit to either.
- The calculators on this site run the same payoff engine as the app, and the methodology page states every convention so a figure can be checked by hand.
- A Lifetime plan, paid once, for anyone who would rather not pay again.
Choose Undebt.it if…
- you want to compare more payoff orders than snowball and avalanche, or set your own custom order;
- you want a free tracker and can accept ads, or a low yearly price that does not renew by itself;
- you want your balances to update from your bank, or you already budget in YNAB.
Choose Dang! Payoff if…
- you want a single plan with a single date and nothing else to configure;
- you want no bank connection in the product at all;
- you would rather try the arithmetic in the calculators on this site before deciding anything.
Monthly and Yearly include a 7-day free trial. Lifetime is a one-time purchase with no trial. No bank login, ever.
